SHOW FAQs:
Space in the Hall is limited and once we have received the maximum paid entries, we will not be able to accept additional entrants.
So if you are planning to attend, reserve your table space as soon as possible.
Tables: Seating will be assigned. Please do not make seating requests. All showers will receive a half table with a single chair with their entry. A second chair may be requested for any shower. Showers with more than 30 Traditional sized models or showing Performance may purchase a full table - Please tell us on your entry form if you are entering more than 30 models. Half tables are 3 feet by 3 feet, while a whole table is 6 feet by 3 feet. More than a full table will be offered only if the show hall is not full by October 1, 2023. An extra table may be requested during registration, but are not guaranteed and will be allotted (for an extra $15/day fee) on a first request, first served basis, after October 1, 2023.
Class Limits: Three models are allowed per shower/per class except for Mini and china classes, where limits are 5 models per class.
General Class Information:
First and second place equids (and eligible fantasy equids) will receive a NAN card in all qualifying NAMHSA classes.
Beyond Last Chance classes, each model may only show in one Breed class and one Collectibility/Workmanship class that the model is pre-qualified for.
Performance models may show in as many classes as the entrant can manage. HOWEVER, there will only be a 10 minute allowance for tack changes so please plan accordingly.
Documentation: In Collectibility, concise documentation is required, as judges will not necessarily know anything about the models you are showing. As a courtesy to other showers, please limit the size of your documentation to a maximum of 8-1/2 x 11 inches. Please DO NOT bring documentation for common breeds, unless they are showing as a rare variation.
Awards and Prizes: Flats will be awarded to the Top Five winners in each class; the top two will also receive NAN cards. Rosettes will be awarded to section and division Champions and Reserves. There will be a Daily Champion/Daily Favorite each day with a special award.
Raffle: A number of items will be available for raffle at the show.
Donations: Donations to support the costs of the show are very welcome! Please contact Suzie at: [email protected]
JUDGING CRITERIA:
1. A Custom is an OF horse that has been repainted, haired, and/or modified through resculpting of any part of the body.
2. A Custom Glazed horse is defined as a fired, non-production color. Minor marking changes are not considered CG. To be considered a production run color, a run must consist of more than 1 horse with the same color/details and must be noted as such by the manufacturer.
3. An Artist Resin is defined as any artist-designed and released, or artist-made and released sculpture in a run or as an original work.
4. An OF China is defined as a fired, production color. To be considered a production run color, a run must consist of more than 1 horse with the same color and must be noted as such by the manufacturer. Factory Tests should be documented with some form of proof.
5. An Original Finish is a mass-produced model in its original state as released by the manufacturer. Models may be repaired or restored to the original state, although a judge may penalize any visible repair at their discretion. Any alteration to a model beyond original state disqualifies it from the OF division.
